Usually the problem is that is keeps coming out <font color=\"#000000\"><b><font face=\"Arial\">black<\/font><\/b><\/font>, even though the original isn&#8217;t black.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a workaround you can try:<\/p>\n<p>Print the PDF file as an <b>image<\/b>.<br \/>\nClick the Print button on the PDF toolbar like you normally would. Then<br \/>\nclick the button that says &#8216;<font face=\"Courier New\">Advanced<\/font>&#8216; and check the box next to &#8216;<font face=\"Courier New\">Print<br \/>\nAs Image<\/font>.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>While it will take a little longer to print, it usually solves the problem.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you&#8217;ve worked the Reference Desk much, you may have had a student that is having trouble printing a PDF file.
