Because of the volume of printing we\u2019ve been
\nexperiencing in the Reference Dept., we\u2019ve been flying through toner
\ncartridges. Even with the amount of printing, though, there has been some
\nquestion about whether toner cartridges were really full, because they had to
\nbe changed rather suddenly sometimes.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

To help measure the productivity of our toner cartridges, we
\nwill now be tracking how many pages are printed out for each cartridge. What
\ndoes this mean for you? Probably nothing more than printing out a page whenever
\nyou change a toner cartridge. I\u2019ll be keeping track of the stats. We just
\nneed a Print Usage Page created every time a toner cartridge is printed.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Instructions are included below, are saved in the Reference
\nfolder on BUFiles\/Library, and are posted on the bulleting board behind the
\nReference Desk. If the toner cartridge runs out on your watch and you need
\nhelp, talk to any of the Reference Librarians.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

When changing toner, please print out the Usage Page
\n so we can track how many copies have been made with each toner cartridge.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Press the Menu button, then go down one<\/span><\/b> to Information (down arrow, then <\/span><\/font>P<\/span><\/font><\/b>),
\n then down three<\/span><\/b> to Print Usage
\n Page (down arrow 3 times, then P<\/span><\/font><\/b>).<\/p>\n
