This<br \/>\nhas been because I.R. upgraded a print server and added the print drivers for<br \/>\nWindows Vista. Most of the time it\u2019s been that print jobs got hung up in the<br \/>\nqueue and eventually all came out. This morning we had different problems, with<br \/>\nprint jobs going through the queue like normal but then<br \/>\ndisappearing.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><font face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">The current status is that they<br \/>\nhave removed the Vista drivers and backed the<br \/>\nserver to working with Windows 2000 and XP. The result is that everything seems<br \/>\nto be printing well now. However, if someone brings in a laptop that\u2019s running<br \/>\nVista and tries to print, they will probably<br \/>\nhave problems using the printers. The best solution for now is that they email<br \/>\nthe document to themselves and then log onto a lab pc and print it from there.<br \/>\nNot the best solution, but at least everyone on library machines can now print<br \/>\nagain.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><font face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">If you have ANY printing problems<br \/>\nnow, please let me know about them so I can coordinate troubleshooting the<br \/>\nissue.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><font face=\"Arial\" size=\"2\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial\">Thanks.<br \/>Scott<br \/><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As you\u2019re all probably aware of, we\u2019ve been having some sporadic printing issues for the last couple weeks.
