The Future Focused Leaders Conference<\/strong>, led by EPPSP students, focused on research from AASA\u2019s Learning 2025<\/em>, Michael B. Horn and Diane Tavenner\u2019s podcast series, \u201cClass Disrupted,\u201d as well as Jamie Merisotis\u2019 book, Human Work in the Age of Smart Machines<\/em>, while also providing innovative ways to think about the evolving world of education. The <\/span>Future Focused Leaders Conference<\/b>, was attended by education, business, and community leaders. It revolved around three thought-provoking publications that challenge the current notions and interplay of leadership and learning in our country\u2019s future.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to these three publications, the Future Focused Leaders Conference<\/strong> featured two guest speakers; Jason Callahan, Assistant Secretary of Student Pathways and Opportunities at the Indiana Department of Education, and Christine McDonnell, Co-Founder and CEO of Codelicious. Both speakers presented on ideas that will change the way educators think and teach in order to set up students for future success.<\/p>\n
