This story introduced American ways into Chinese Culture. In America buffets are very common and popular, they earn lots of money and are a great way for businesses to promote themselves. However, as we saw in this story it takes a lot of food and money to start the way of dining. The characters were very overwhelmed with the amount of food and people that they had come to their restaurant. They didn’t have enough manpower for the idea which is why it failed and they all ended frustrated and stressed out.
