This article discusses how even though the literature of the Bible had beauty in many places, there was also the darkness of sexism, violence and racism. The article uses the example of Mark 14:7 to exemplify that The Bible has been used to “legitimate an indifference for those victimized by capitalism”.
I believe that this is not the true representation of God but a representation of men who wrote the test centuries ago along with translations and interpretations. I feel awful for Gale because the Biblical text did not give her a full representation on what I feel God is really about.
