“But if you will not listen, my should will weep in secret for your pride”. In class today we discussed how Jeremiah highlights that even though everything looks fine, it is actually quite disastrous. He is aware of the writings on the wall. He does not want to say these things but he feels like he has to. I find it interesting on how moments like these are reflective in my own life. I also possess Jeremiah’s “burning fire” in my soul to fight for what’s right.
