I wanted to reflect on #15. Whenever I first glanced over these words, I felt that something was calling on me to dissect it and apply it to what it means to me. I feel these 4 lines tell a short story about how love can ignite the spirit in someone. Whether this love is for someone else, potentially a figure we see as God, or someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, it brings about a super natural feeling. This connected with me because I found this love mixing with spirit mostly in my church congregations on Sunday mornings growing up. I remember many raising their hands and confessing their love for “our Lord oh God” and how they felt that their spirit and love was in tune. To me, I never really felt this way just because I was so young and never understood what this meant. Now that I am older, I can see where this love reaching the core could apply to several religions, other than my small town southern Indiana church experiences. I feel that in the Islam faith, their connection is so much more in tune with their heart and has become a way of life for those who practice. Im eager to see if I have a similar experience in my faith journey as I do not know where it is heading.<\/p>\n
