One of the articles that sounded familiar to sayings we use today was #3, \u201cwhat reaches you could not possibly have missed you; and what misses you could not possibly have reached you.\u201d This is similar to many modern sayings. I often hear things like \u201cit is what it is\u201d or \u201cwhatever happens, happens,\u201d or \u201cit\u2019s how the cookie crumbles.\u201d The one that comes to mind the most is, \u201ceverything happens for a reason.\u201d I think it is interesting to consider this because these sentiments have been around for so long.
