The discipline of history studies the past in order to understand the decisions and choices that have shaped the current world. The History program at Butler provides students with a diverse perspective on the world and opportunities for hands-on practice in the field. With a minimum of prescribed courses, the curriculum allows you to follow your curiosity through electives and interdisciplinary courses. Students leave our program equipped to carefully investigate issues, creatively solve problems and articulate their ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n
