Beginning with Fall, 2008 classes, you’ll be able to quickly purchase your books for class through My.Butler by using a link to the Follett BookNow system. The classes you’ve enrolled in for the semester will create a corresponding list of textbooks that your instructors have requested. You’ll then have the opportunity to select and purchase your desired texts.
- Login and click
Self Service > Student Center. - In the Academics section of the Student Center, click on the Other Academic… dropdown.
- Select Class Schedule from the dropdown, then click the
button. - Click the radio button next to the semester you want, then click the
button. Your schedule appears. - Scroll to the bottom of your schedule and look at the lower right corner of the screen. You’ll see the
link there. Click on the link. - A new window will pop open in your browser, and you’ll be directed to a page on the Follett website. Your enrolled courses will be listed on the screen. Follow the onscreen instructions to select and purchase your books.Note: If Follett is not yet accepting orders for the semester, you will be offered the chance to receive notification by email when books are available.
If a class has no book, you’ll see this message on the screen, and you’ll be given the opportunity to search for another book.
