First year students (during their first semester on campus) and non-degree seeking students must meet with their advisor who will help them drop a class. All other students may follow the instructions below for dropping a class.
- Login and click
Self Service > Student Center. - Under the Academics area, click on the Other Academics… dropdown and select Enrollment: Drop. Then click the
button. - Check the box next to the class you want to drop and click the
button. - On the following confirmation screen, verify that this is the class you want to drop, and click the
button. - The results screen displays the class you attempted to drop and a status message with either a green check mark
if the class was successfully dropped or a red ‘X’
if there were errors. - To return to your class schedule, click the
button. You may also choose to return to the Student Center by clicking the Go to … dropdown box near the top or bottom of the screen and selecting Student Center. Click the
button.
