Exodus- Moses was sent to free slaves by Jesus. Confronts the Egypts king and says let them go, they chase after him and that’s when the Red Sea is parting. When listening to let my people go, I’ve heard it once before in a movie about racism. In the example that I’ve heard, it was about letting the slaves go and not separate them. With this version, I understand that it’s supposed to correspond with the exodus story. This just shows how modern music is influenced by it. This story is wasn’t about just one thing/person it was about a situation, a whole issue that continued, Which is why they didn’t name the “pharaohs.” Using the Metallica version, It makes the story more hyped up and more interesting to watch the clips with, as well to be more dramatic. It also makes it sound even more cruel with the word “DIE”
