Salome takes a romantic interest in John. We expect romantic elements, but why erotic elements in the bible. Song of Songs is an erotic poem but it could just be an a deeper meaning and with the metaphorical approach, they just didn’t know what to do about it. There’s so many ways to look at it; we could see it as an affirmation of love, valued as a poem or just even apart of a central core text.
The Irish piece played is very soothing until they all come together. It sounds nice and authentic, you can tell it’s original and had a distinctive sound to it. In On My Own, it was more of a “regular” song. I liked how she was talking about the lord and how he’s always there and with her.
