the overall song seems to change as it progresses from movement to movement. these movements refer to different parts of the bible.  the first movement seems to have the chaos of creation put into mind as things are coming in and out of existence as God builds the world. then the second movement arrives and has a much more mournful air to it. this movement in the context of the bible and how early on in the song it is most likely pertains to the Israelites in Egypt suffering and calling out to God for help.  the following movements go between a peaceful melody to a troubled melody and back again for the next three movements. most likely telling of how the Israelites would be saved from God, follow him for a time, start to stray from God, get into trouble, ask God for help which is when God sends someone to save the Israelites from their fate. the 6th movement feels almost unfinished but that would make sense since humanity has not reached the events in the book of revelation meaning the song cannot have a feel of finality until the events of the book of revelation has come to a close.
