I was surprised by how many children’s songs include some sort of biblical references. I was most surprised by the song “this little light of mine” because even though it did not have a direct biblical reference it does pertain to several verses from the bible. like Matthew 5:14-16, John 8:12, and Ephesians 5:8. all talk about shining your light of faith to the rest of the world and that no darkness can overcome this light.
