Today in class we talked about Magnificat. The activity of everyone trying to change the sound of the first two lines in Magnificat was actually really fun and interesting. I think it was fun because we weren’t told to sing, just switch up the sound a little bit. It was nice hearing all the different ways people sounded it out. We listened to many examples of different singing of the first two lines of Magnificat. We were shown today how a lot of music is made, by just playing around with keys and finding what sounds good. We just picked out random keys and still made it into something that sounded decent. We ended our class with Canticle of the Turning.
