in the chapter of ruth, we find one of the few places we can find romance in the bible. this romance is between ruth and Boaz. even though the story is more focused on a widowed women’s vulnerability in the time that this chapter in the bible took place it does have hintings and romance that is not found anywhere else in any other book in the bible. this turned this chapter in the bible into a perfect place to reference romantic verses that could be paraphrased in order for romantic biblical music.
