Dr. Benjamin Spears
Dr. Spears leads a research lab of undergraduate students and teaches introductory and upper-level genetics, molecular biology, and plant science courses. He hails from southern Wisconsin and has worked throughout the midwest at the University of Missouri, Columbia (PhD and post-doc), Drury University in Springfield, MO (adjunct professor), and now Butler University in Indianapolis, IN (assistant professor). He is a disc golf, biking, donut, craft beer, and board game enthusiast excited to live walking distance from the home of gaming (Gen Con) in the Circle City.
