Nominations Open for Staff Difference Makers!
In the spirit of recognizing the contributions and hard work of staff, especially in the last year and a half during the pandemic, Butler University Staff Assembly acknowledges Difference Makers – staff employees who demonstrate exemplary service which makes a positive impact at Butler. Difference Makers award winners will receive a $500 pre-tax award, to be presented later in the fall semester, and will be invited to an event honoring their service at the President’s residence.
Due to the pandemic, the annual work of the Difference Makers committee was on pause, but we are pleased to share we are accepting nominations for part-time and full-time staff (non-faculty) who have made a difference at Butler University any time from June 1, 2019 through May 31, 2021. Previously, you could nominate a staff member based on three different categories. The categories have been removed to be less restrictive, and the nomination form provides examples of the many ways a staff member can make a difference.
Nominations are now being accepted through October 1 by 5:00 PM.
