Meeting Highlights
- Welcome & Introductions: Britany Goodpaster introduced the 2025–2026 Staff Assembly Executive Committee and reminded everyone about the upcoming Staff Picnic and Difference Makers Awards.
- Strategic Direction: Melissa Beckwith shared updates on Boldly Butler, the university’s new comprehensive campaign, including engagement with over 750 stakeholders and 25+ strategy sessions.
- Fundraising Insights: Jonathan Purvis emphasized how fundraising aligns donor passion with university priorities and addressed questions on staff involvement, brand redesign, and campus initiatives.
- Staff Assembly Updates: Britany explained the new meeting format—now 90 minutes and in-person only.
- Community Engagement: Shout-outs included Bulldogs on Bikes, Cookies with the CIO, Popsicle giveaways, Get Hire Job Fair, and the Duck Drop event.
- Orientation Update: Meg Haggerty reported an incoming class of 1,248 students.
- Attendance: 97 staff members participated.
