October General Assembly Minutes

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the October Staff Assembly General Meeting! Here’s a quick recap of the highlights:

• COO Updates: Alan Finn introduced himself to the Butler community, sharing his professional journey and personal background and answered questions re: university systems, board of trustees, and Oracle enhancements.
• Open Enrollment Overview: Kendra Diehl from HR Benefits provided a detailed overview of the upcoming Open Enrollment period, running October 23 – November 4, 2025.
• United Way Campaign: Butler partners with the United Way of Central Indiana each year and a UWCI representative encouraged staff participation to support local families and community programs.
• Boldly Butler Campaign: Dawn Dinwiddie shared progress toward the $325M goal, reinforcing the University’s mission to deliver transformative education.
