Staff Assembly General Meeting Recap: November 20th
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the November Staff Assembly General Meeting! Here’s a quick recap of the highlights:
- Semester Feedback & Spring Plan: Chair Britany Goodpaster reviewed feedback on meeting length and format, and announced the move to Gallahue 104 in the Spring Semester to utilize a hybrid setting.
- Elements Financial: Eliza Claborn provided details about Butler’s Credit Union.
- Butler Arts & Events Center: Aaron Hurt presented on maximizing non-tuition dollars and provided an update on the Whitehill Ballroom, which will hold 1,450 people.
- Gateway Project & Campus Updates: John Lacheta from Operations gave a comprehensive update, including details on the new Safety & Transit Hub (starting Spring 2026, completion July 2027), the Nursing/IT relocations, and renovations to Clowes Hall.
- Staff Assembly Efforts: Carol Baker shared that the committee is actively working on feedback from the Staff Picnic and reminded staff to use the website link to voice any questions, comments, or concerns.
- BuBeWell: Robin Coleman presented information about the BuBeWell program.
