Medical professionals, clinicians, and artists have recognized the therapeutic value of creative writing. When we write, we can release stress and nurture our imaginations.<\/p>\n<p>Creative Writing for Wellness is part of the mission of the Butler MFA program, which welcomes University staff and faculty to participate in a <strong>free five-week Wellness Writing Workshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>When:<\/strong> Mondays, June 6\u2013July 11 |\u00a04:15\u20135:45 PM\u00a0(Excludes July 4, Independence Day)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where:<\/strong> Butler University, Efroymson Center for Creative Writing (530 W. Hampton Drive)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Facilitators:<\/strong> Hilene Flanzbaum and Angela Hofstetter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the past two years, Butler MFA students and faculty have run writing classes with staff members at Eskenazi Health; with senior citizens at American HealthCare Services; and with adolescents at Riley Hospital for Children and Hope Academy.<\/p>\n<p>Spaces for the employee Wellness Writing Workshop are limited to 12.
