{"id":3335,"date":"2021-09-08T02:30:14","date_gmt":"2021-09-08T06:30:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/staffassembly\/?p=3335"},"modified":"2021-09-08T02:30:14","modified_gmt":"2021-09-08T06:30:14","slug":"know-a-staff-member-who-makes-a-difference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.butler.edu\/staffassembly\/know-a-staff-member-who-makes-a-difference\/","title":{"rendered":"Know a staff member who makes a difference?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content\">\n<h2><span style=\"color: #00ccff\"><strong><u>Nominations Open for Staff Difference Makers!<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the spirit of recognizing the contributions and hard work of staff, especially in the last year and a half during the pandemic, Butler University Staff Assembly acknowledges\u00a0<strong>Difference Makers<\/strong> \u2013 staff employees who demonstrate exemplary service which makes a positive impact at Butler.\u00a0Difference Makers award winners will receive a $500 pre-tax award, to be presented later in the fall semester, and will be invited to an event honoring their service at the President\u2019s residence.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the pandemic, the annual work of the Difference Makers committee was on pause, but we are pleased to share we are accepting nominations for part-time and full-time staff (non-faculty) who have made a difference at Butler University <strong>any time from June 1, 2019 through May 31, 2021.<\/strong> Previously, you could nominate a staff member based on three different categories.
