Here&#8217;s a quick recap of what we covered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meeting Highlights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Welcome &amp; Introductions<\/strong>: Britany Goodpaster introduced the 2025\u20132026 Staff Assembly Executive Committee and reminded everyone about the upcoming Staff Picnic and Difference Makers Awards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Strategic Direction<\/strong>: Melissa Beckwith shared updates on&nbsp;<em>Boldly Butler<\/em>, the university\u2019s new comprehensive campaign, including engagement with over 750 stakeholders and 25+ strategy sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fundraising Insights<\/strong>: Jonathan Purvis emphasized how fundraising aligns donor passion with university priorities and addressed questions on staff involvement, brand redesign, and campus initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Staff Assembly Updates<\/strong>: Britany explained the new meeting format\u2014now 90 minutes and in-person only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Community Engagement<\/strong>: Shout-outs included Bulldogs on Bikes, Cookies with the CIO, Popsicle giveaways, Get Hire Job Fair, and the Duck Drop event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Orientation Update<\/strong>: Meg Haggerty reported an incoming class of 1,248 students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Attendance<\/strong>: 97 staff members participated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>General Meeting Minutes: <a href=\"https:\/\/butleru.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/s\/StaffAssembly\/Eb7oZFL0Z11NgmPPmfb2EEMBWy5hsFRlB5-J9AEOVmTFVg?e=2fL4mn\">August General Meeting Minutes.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bylaws Feedback Survey<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re currently reviewing our Staff Assembly bylaws and want your input!
