The third Friday of Summer Fusion will focus on career pathways and will introduce participants to the concept of economic sectors and economic development, and familiarize them with vibrant, local sectors of Indianapolis.
Career Pathways Day will be held in the Indy Chamber boardroom on Monument Circle. Panelists will include Michael Huber, President and CEO of Indy Chamber, Betsy McCaw, Vice President at Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, and Brian Stemme, Project Director at Biocrossroads. This panel will be hosted by Aaron Harrison, a 2014 Butler Alumni and a member of the Orr Fellowship at Element 3 Marketing.
After this morning’s panel, participants will walk over to The Platform where an informal panel of liberal arts graduates will be held over lunch. There will then be a nonprofit social where corporate residents at The Platform are welcome to come and mingle with Summer Fusion participants. Students will then be given some free time before dinner at Union 50 and the First Friday event at The Thirsty Scholar to watch one of our very own participants perform.
