It’s horrific to read that David would send Uriah on a suicide mission out of jealousy after raping Uriah’s wife, Bathsheba. The more we dive into the nitty gritty of the Bible, the more horrified I become that tales like these are written in the Bible. This book is definitely written for mature audiences only, and it’s astonishing how little I actually know about the Bible and its stories.

In Sunday-School, David was always told to me in a very positive light.
