Holmes to be a very reliable source. His credentials were easy to find because he is a professor and universities usually provide background information on their prominent faculty. He has a Ph.D in Theological seminary from Princeton University with an area of specialization in the New Testament. I would definitely trust the information he provides on Bible related studies because of his education and expertise.<\/p>\n<p>Another search of Google provided me with information on a biblical scholar named Richard Bauckham. He specializes in New Testament Christology, Jewish and Christian apocalyptic literature, and many other areas. He shares the specialization on the New Testament with Holmes.<\/p>\n<p>Through this lesson, I learned more about finding reliability in the sources I use by searching for information on the background of the author. Their education and specialization provide more clarity to how you should interpret the information they&#8217;re providing. It&#8217;s important to know that while there is a bias in nearly everything you find, if you can clearly identify the bias and where it comes from, the source still can be reliable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I consider Michael W.
