Converged Journalism

This is a site that features final projects by Converged Journalism students at Butler University.

Students have spent the semester working on stories that examine a serious issue — using standard journalism newsgathering skills and values — but employing various new storytelling skills for a variety of different media platforms.

Each student’s page or pages features a video story, a standard newspaper-style story and/or a medley of chunks of additional information, and interactive and/or searchable opportunities one would find on a news media Web site.
