I REMEMBER
by DANNY
I remember the day we first met.
I remember when we shared our first laugh like it was yesterday.
I remember when we hugged for the very first time.
I remember when you became a friend to Boo in a second.
I remember when we dated.
All of these memories are part of me.
I remember the day you told me you were leaving.
I remember.
I felt like my heart broke into pieces, but I still remember you.
BILLY
by CHELSEA
I was a normal person. Every night I had dreams. And in these dreams there was a door with a diamond knob. I kept dreaming of this door, until one day I woke up in this dark room that had a light shining on a red door and a diamond knob, just like my dreams. So I opened the door and walked in. Then the room spun, and when it stopped there was no more door. I was tied down with a gun to my head. So as I sat there, I realized this isn’t a trap, it’s a sick game.
HURTFUL EMOTIONS
by ERIC S.
I see your skin and I see your scars, let me take you
somewhere, where we’re alone. Maybe Mars?
I see your facial expression, maybe it’s teaching me
a lesson? I want to protect you from Satan.
I won’t let this happen again.
The way he treats you isn’t right, stay with me
and I’ll keep you bright. You are my princess, no wait . . .
my queen. And I don’t want you to stay with
someone so rude and mean.
You shouldn’t deal with this abuse,
c’mon there is no use.
I’ll take your tears away, and I’ll
keep you forever if I may.
SPARTANS VS. ROMANS
by HUNTER
Preparing for war . . . now get ready soldiers. Charge! Fire the arrows and send the horseman. Now send the foot soldiers. We will fight. Slashing, cutting, brother vs. brother. We are staring to win; the Spartans are winning, the Romans are dying. Kill every last one. What? They have more soldiers . . . there is no way we can win. They have 2,500 more soldiers. We only have 500. No. We will not give up against these Romans. We will fight until we die. We’ll keep slashing through these Romans. We were doing good until the shower of arrows come down and hit us.
