  • HURTFUL EMOTIONS

    by ERIC S.

I see your skin and I see your scars, let me take you
somewhere, where we’re alone. Maybe Mars?

I see your facial expression, maybe it’s teaching me
a lesson? I want to protect you from Satan.

I won’t let this happen again.

The way he treats you isn’t right, stay with me
and I’ll keep you bright. You are my princess, no wait . . .
my queen. And I don’t want you to stay with
    someone so rude and mean.

You shouldn’t deal with this abuse,
    c’mon there is no use.

I’ll take your tears away, and I’ll
keep you forever if I may.

  • HE STOLE IT

    by ERIC S.

He stole that very important item from her. Ever since it was stolen she’s been acting very different. She’s always been jealous and never acts like she’s calm. Many people do not know what he is going to do with it. He may not even know what he’s going to do with it himself. People’s minds go from here to there because she was it. He may have have stolen it through a text message. She feels very empty without it… like there’s something missing in her lately. She may get it back someday, but in his eyes, he’s not giving it back any time soon. Every time she looks at him, she’ll know know he’ll keep it safe and his face lets her know that he’ll keep that promise.

  • TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

    by ERIC S.

Everything went well and the rain
fell. My heart raced as I
leaned in for the kiss. First
time kissing in the rain? Yes.

I went to the store and I saw
my friend stealing. I felt as if I
started to steal and we left.
Next thing I noticed, I had
    something in my pocket. Bad
    influences, I guess.

    Video games everywhere! Under the
tree and in my room. I felt
so excited. My heart and blood spread.
But, it was nothing but a normal
    Christmas.

  • UNTITLED

    by ERIC S.

A fairy tale is not fake and never will be.

A true story will make me crazy.

A lie can make me happy.

Windows are not made of glass
    doors
    do not have knobs.

    Fans do not blow air.
    Heaters don’t give heat.

    Stories do not give…something.
