IT WAS SO DARK
by ADAM
It was so dark, suddenly
cloudy. She went to catch
her train, that led to nowhere.
Silence, as her shadow followed her
to take her seat, while she
watches the wet faces outside
the train window, everything
that had any meaning, or
any color.
It became dark outside the
train, and the apparition of faces
got really wet,
staring out of a dark window
there were wet lonely children faces.
HOW TO LOVE
STATIC
by PAULA and HANNAH
I am
static, clinging
to your body,
your woolly sheets,
the carpet
stained with shadows.
I’m stuck on you,
to
you, making my lips frizz
as you pull away.
Wanna
zap you back up,
implore
you to stay, make your way
back
into my salty demeanor,
cleaner
than dryer sheets.
MY WORLD
by CURTIS
My world would be fun, but sloppy.
Possibly carefree and careless. people would only work until they’re 35 years old, then they would retire.
They would have a lot of money to spend and flash, so their younger neighbors could admire them.
There would be free amusement parks and free rec-centers, free YMCA for indoor hoopers in the winter.
Every thing else you’d pay for, like food, pets, utilities, houses, and ICY-HOT for your neck.
THE FUTURE
by ANDRE
The future in 100 years.
There will be no future. Everything will be over. Nobody would be left. The world will blow up. It would be taken over by cyborgs. Cyborg turtles and their leader Cookie. They rule the water, land and space. And their mortal enemy the CICADA GANG! OBLA! BANG! BANG! SQUAD!
The leader SQUADANAH! he’s large looks like a cicada wing. He sheds everywhere. No one likes him. He is hated everywhere. He’s big nasty and ugly. One day he was flying through the galaxy. There was yelling and screaming. Then his skin broke into 1,000,000,000 pieces. Now they float everywhere. People get them stuck on their bodies, and then they die. There was a gruesome battle between the turtleborgs and the cicada gang. Then the turleborgs won. There was no more SQUADANAH shedding everywhere. No more deaths from the cicada gang. Then everyone lives happily ever after. The end. Unless… oh never mind.
Bye.
