EYES OF WONDER
by MARCHE
Have you ever looked upon the sea and seen a thing like me? I have really long legs. It’s kinda hard to count. They call me mean because if you come near me I might just sting…Ayee! Sorry, I’m not as smart as a human being. People love the color of me. I’m like a beautiful rainbow under the sea. I’m a jellyfish.
WHY
by DAIZJHA
I’m tired of cryin for you, sayin goodbye to you
Why
Why all this pain
Why you go away
Come back I need you
And my body and soul plead for you, beg for you
I’m takin my breath, now step two
Hard to forget. I see that love and I want
It this pain and despair I gotta own it
It’s my life.
But why
Why, why
Why goodbye
Why did you lie
Drippin bloody tears from my eye
Yeah as I sigh try to forget
And then I hear by, I have trust issues
And I still love you, got abandonment
Issues but I still need you
Boom…I’m still in love with you
GOODBYE
by DAIZJHA
Like chains of life and the
Pain of mine
When you cryin and you dyin
Your pain ignites
The freedom of mine and the clockwork
Of time froze
Take ya positions and go
Why
My same question is why
Why the goodbye
Why did you lie…
Like, are you thinking of me, or are you
Just hiding from me
Where are you
How are you
Are we still in a fight cuz who I love to
Boom…my heart
Bang. My life falls and
My body freezes…kids with their parents
You F.N teases
But I love you and I miss you
Sittin here think bout it I would kiss you
So goodbye for now
Check the deuces and I’ll see on the flip side
Hope you well, can’t wait to see you
Boom
ELLA
by DAIZJHA
As she walks down the street the glow of the moon bounces off her black hair. A scream rings and is soon gone like a dream. Ella a shadow working her way to the cemetery. She hears a scream again…it’s closer. At a height of eight feet two inches it stands out like a demon of darkness. A breeze, cold and enchanting. The moon seems to follow her as if in amazement. She hears a rattle of chains. Her golden yellow eyes catch a glimmer in the night’s light. 270 pounds of elegance in the dark. Her dress flows and heels click. Her family comes to mind as she sees a child. Father, brother, mother ran away long ago but she then thinks of her boyfriend, Kidd. A worker of the family business. Yeah, she’s different and extravagant, her name…Ella.
MY CARPET
by MARK
When I first moved in to my new house
When I first saw my room
I saw my green carpet
It was empty
When we moved the TV
The bed
And the dresser
It looked different
It looked smaller
I looked like a baller
Also when I move things around
It looks like it gets bigger
When company comes over
At the end of October
There are plates and cups
Spread all over
