LET ME OFF EASY THIS TIME
by BRANDON B
Let me off easy this time,
Jus do me the honor of being mine.
Let me off easy this time,
I promise I’ll save your mind
From all the typical boring rhymes.
Let me off easy this time,
Our love will be the definitions of Valentine’s
Day where me and you unwind.
Let me off easy this time,
And try your best to give me your all with all your might.
Let me off easy this time,
When we say good night don’t end it with an “aight.”
Let me off easy this time,
And before hand let me know that I’m wasting your time,
I don’t whine jus ask nicely to my man above,
That my next love lets me off easy this time.
DEAR FATHER (LOOK THROUGH THIS)
by BRANDON B
Dear father,
I’m writing to you because it’s evident that I’ve been discarded,
I once was a clean sheet of paper that has now been tainted by your absence
but as of, and since then,
I wonder if I’ve been on your mind, does the thought of me inhabit you at any given time
“ugh what’s my line?!”
I’ve been through this rehearsal even though it hurts still to know you disowned me
To think my blood brother, by a different mother, helped me be a better man than you
Young Lil’ Brandon had thoughts of arson to all thoughts of you,
My abler to be alive, not father, but manufacturer me a delicate machine
With only one mission more determined than Akeelah striving to win that bee, When you incoherently stabbed ‘n yanked out the heart of lil’ ole me
That empty space filled with hatred, stronger than a Jew had whenever they saw a Nazi,
Constantly wonder how could he, he of all not see, the talent bestowed upon me, My endower my self-esteem lower
Chopping up my letter n sanctuary of false memories hoping we could work this out are now under a lawn mower wait lemme lay them here n blow them about.
BIBLE VERSE

THE SOCIAL ORDER
by ISIAH
From the free world class citizens,
To the lower scum ballers.
From the big tall wanna be men,
To those just a bit smaller.
From the top to the bottom
I wonder what I long for,
I wonder if I’m going to increase in this paradox or shrink and die smaller.
But I don’t know cuz I’m stuck on the edge of the social order.
Day to day life just seems to get a bit border.
But I don’t know if I want to increase or decrease cuz I’m stuck on the line,
The boarder.
I’m stuck between yes, no, and sort of.
My life seems peaceful but soon comes the war dove to spice up and throw out of
line the social order.
And that’s cuz I’m stuck to the boundaries that I’m assigned to.
I long for change cuz I’m tired of my ears being soundproof.
Like remember when you were five and you used to eat glue,
That’s cuz everything you knew,
Was new to you,
But you know what you like or what you like to do,
But ask yourself, ‘’Who am I and what have I been through?’’
MY VALENTINE
by DAEZY
My valentine,
Fine like a supermodel
Eyes shine like the sunlight
My Valentine
Words cannot describe how I feel about you
You make my emotions confused
You make my heart flutter like a birds wings every time you smile
My Valentine
I can’t explain why I love you
All I know is I breathe you
I want you,
I need you
I keep trying, but fail like a dumb kid taking a hard test
I will say this, baby you da best
I love how you’re always unexpected
So expect this
My heart is yours, feel free to break it
Our souls are intertwined
So this must be fate, yes?
I love you like an unforgettable song
Please make this last long
Baby you turn my heart on
I tried to move on, but I guess I’m just as useless as a street walker
Don’t be afraid of me, even though I’m your stalker
