  • OUR LEADERS?

    by ISIAH

    Hiding from the powerful,
    An alias to use peacefully.
    The horrible enigma
    that intimidates foes, equally.
    The rancor that is used
    won’t be used graciously.
    It’s horror, but not fiction–
    the laws we stand by
    are ironic by definition.
    With the insane imbeciles
    asking why I must disdain
this world that we live in,
    not knowing the truth.
Could you bear to bare the truth?
    Our lucidity as a whole
is a timorous horse let loose.
    Our so-called leaders
    attempt  to pacify us.
They don’t know that we hate them.
    Let them comfort us
    from our insipid sins.
    They should know we are
only doing this because of them.

  • BRIGHT ADOLESCENT

    by ISIAH

To the bright adolescent, the expectations rise
for he shows his true self when he holds back no lies.
He’s looking for affection and acceptance of those close to him,
and only gets complaints due to successes before.
His heart is torn from the bruises and sores,
but everyone thinks he’s fine because
he has a key to open any door, but he can’t open up any door,
even though he’s a problem-solver, he can’t decode his own mystery,
when he thinks he has the answer, it still goes on like infinity.
Sure, every human can function with just basic needs –
drink, eat, sleep, is that all I need?
    But he needs something more,
something to cry for, something to ball up in your fist
and die for, something that makes us lust for more.
When everyone is telling you what you should do,
you forget your own options. He wonders
if it’s possible to handle all the stress this is causing.
    His vision is blurry.
He has no glasses just so he can see clearly
between what he loves and what he holds dearly,
so his eyes start to water and he feels so sad,
thinking it’s pathetic to even think like that.
So he tries a new strategy,
instead of going fast, he decides to go steady,
not worrying about the future, just about what he has already,
and it ends up fine because everything’s working for me.

  • THE BREAKING POINT

    by ISIAH

The human mentality and mental brain capacity
    Breaks at one point.
The breaking point where we snap,
And what happens is like catastrophe,
But what happens at the breaking point is the unseen
    Between quotes, rules, and laws
,
What we do, what we say, what we say
.
Something is going to happen and then
    SNAP!
    If you keep bending something
,
    It’s going to start breaking
,
And that’s because we go through a struggle.
    A struggle against racial discrimination,
    Poverty, abuse, disorder,
To find out which one of us is obsolete.
So let the world be themselves
,
And hide your true breaking point
    Because if you don’t,
The world around you will collapse into
Thousands of pieces of what you used to call
    A life
.
Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself,
    Because you’re the only defender
,
And you aren’t going to get no help.
When you do hit that breaking point
    With your bad man intentions,
    Settle down, because
Life is unexpected, and you might just catch the big one.
And just to let you know
    That breaking point
    Isn’t caused by what’s there
.
    It’s caused by what’s missing.

  • THE WORLD GOES ON

    by ISIAH

    From mutation to evolutions,
The no thoughts and the thought of
    The world goes on.
Due to the little change that we brought on.
I mean who cares about the
Panic attacks, the global warming climax
    And humanities collapse
Because the world goes on. And
All we did was leave a small indentation,
A bad scar, a bad memory
Shaping how the earth’s crust forms
And soon we could move mountains
And harness the power of thunderous storms.
But that’s in the future and, even still, the world goes on.
And don’t get me wrong, don’t get it twisted.
We did good things too, but
We throw them away like we didn’t even miss it.
Because its easy to get bored easily,
So we build new toys to give us happiness
    Let’s reminisce, no stop reminiscing
If I did this I did that
Because really we’re just scared of success
No one’s scared of the future; we’re scared of the present.
    But the world goes on,
And this is how we live it,
This is how we see it, touch it, smell it, cuddle it,
And still the world goes on,
And no matter what we do,
    It will never stop turning.

  • BIBLE VERSE

    by ISIAH
    1.
Influential words saving me from the depths of solitude.
Never alone, as I have one to show my path and guide me through it.
    2.
A soul is given faith, and bound to the contents of the pages when read,
And the grasp of knowledge and security overrules all evil and defiance.
    3.
War and bloodshed, havoc caused by a myth.
Endless confrontations, condemned if you don’t follow it,
But follow your eyes because without seeing the truth,
    You’re blind.
    4.
Protection is key, when in the satanic grasp.
The devils domain is overshadowed by the voice of God.
God is the light, blinding to the shadows.
The followers are rejoiced while the others are left to wallow.
    5.
Three days, is eternity without the lord our savior, but he shall not leave us forever.
Resurrection. He dies for us, and he, the invincible, is back.
Only to save us from our sins again.
    6.
    The mystery of the bible.
Is this thee ultimate structure of the factual religious ceremonies,
Or rumors made up by a drunk who simply has a story to tell?
Never the less, this is what’s accepted,
Even if it’s true or false.
