  • THE BLIND MAN

    by KIYLA

I’m the blind man who can see
The wind that breathes between my fingers,
    But sings with the leaves.
I look up and see them swaying in perfect joyful harmony.
    I run sensing my freedom.

I’m the blind man who can see
    The music, the melody,
    The one that inspires me
Is the same thing that inspired Mozart,
    Pure talent.

I’m the blind man who can see,
And all I need is rain, maybe thunder
    To calm me down,
A different aroma from my candle.

  • HOW TO MEND A BROKEN HEART

    by KIYLA

In my eyes I say all is fair in love and war.
So you mend it by getting revenge.
Revenge is a dish best served cold especially
When you are a feline living in a canine’s territory.
This feline is cute and soft but her heart
Is filled with stone. Letting her guard
    Down once but never again.
    My friends: mostly canines
Had to step on their tails and flick their noses
As they cried and yelped in my ears for my forgiveness
    No longer wanting my friendship.
No need for asking for friendship.
To think my best friend is now my enemy.
Revenge is my best friend. But they were diamonds.
Fake Diamonds and I didn’t notice I was wearing them.
    Flashing them to the crowd.

  • EXCLUSIVE INK II

    by KIYLA

    It’s amazing how we started.
    Some were friends, others associates.
    College tutors starting something unique.
I’m not alone. No seriously, I’m not!
    There are two other Kiylas.
Nobody here who doesn’t like to write.
Our superheroes finally let us free.
    It’s kind of crazy, right?
    No, it’s perfect. Unique.
We are the voices of Exclusive Ink.
