MRE 750 for Monday

The 750 train rolls on. What to write about today? You might think about trying a new genre for a creative tile.

Or you might “talk about” the essay, thinking on the screen about approaches you might take, genres you might try, or research angles.

Or you might consider (then research and write about) this research angle:

  • As a resource, Wikipedia is pretty shoddy and unreliable. But as a resource for other, more academic and reliable sources, Wikipedia can be a great jumping-off point. Here’s what you can do: look up your subject on Wikipedia. Scroll down past the suspect article into the “references” section. Jackpot.

If the pen is too far away, he has to convince himself that what he thought of is not funny.

The graph is really off because the day switched so it went to a blank screen and I had to copy and paste the words I already had to the new page because I could not continue typing on my old one.

I was at 683 when it hit midnight, so i continued on a second page. i still hit 750, just on two days. here are them both.

I tried putting in some of the script of the Magic Bullet infomercial but I decided to take it out. That is why the chart looks a little crazy.

    Professor Furuness,

I am also having the same problem as Dan. I wrote 791 words but only 746 will save and I have been unable to get it to work. I can email you my entry if you need me to. I also can bring a copy to class.

I realize my graph is not present or well anything else for that matter. My original would not save, so i created a new account and copied the old 750 into the new, but now it will not show a graph because I pasted it all at once, maybe? I have all of my sharing preferences on. I will bring a copy to class to show I really did the work.

      Hi,
I am having the same problem as Dan. I have 774 words, but it says it only saved 740. I’ve gone back 5 times and it still does the same thing.

    Professor Furuness,

The auto-saving feature for 750 words would not work after it saved my paper at 744 words. I have tried several times to go back and have it save after I have surpassed the 750 words, but it keeps saying that it failed to save. Therefore, my link will not show some of the data, such as number of distractions.
