Reminder to Vote for Staff Assembly Executive Committee Members!

 

Elections are open for Staff Assembly. There are four 3-year-term At-Large positions for the Executive Committee. Please take some time to make your selections for Staff Assembly Executive Committee. The ballot will be open until Friday, April 19 @ 12:45 p.m.  And please remind others in your area to vote too!  Here is it link for the election:

Faculty & Staff Day of Service – April 24

Come join us on Wednesday, April 24 as we spend time with other Dawgs working alongside students at the IPS/Butler University Laboratory School! Activities include outdoor maintenance, cleaning, and gardening at the school. Rain or shine—there will be lots to do!

Replacing Campus Sweep, the Day of Service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, from 1-4 p.m.  Volunteers may sign up for one of two shifts: 1-3 p.m. or 2-4 p.m.

A light snack, water, and transportation will be provided for the event. Participants should plan to meet in front of Atherton Union, along Hampton Drive, at the start of their scheduled shift time (1 p.m. or 2 p.m.) to board the bus.

Registration is limited, so please confirm your schedule before registering. The deadline to register is April 19. You may register via the online form. Those without internet access may register by calling Beth Lohman at ext. 6131.

We would like to thank the Office of the President for making this year’s event possible.

Staff Assembly Nominations and Elections

 

Staff Assembly Nominations and Elections Committee members are starting the process for elections to the Executive Committee (4) At-Large Positions.  Staff Assembly Executive Committee members are involved in discussing and addressing staff issues and opportunities, coordinating staff development and relationship-building efforts, and providing input on important University decisions.

If you would like to nominate someone, please send an email with the person’s name (and department) to either:

Patti Colip (pcolip@butler.edu); Tyler Johnston (tjohnsto@butler.edu); or        Julie Schrader  (jschrade@butler.edu)

 

Here is the schedule:

  • April 1 – 5 – Nominations and Elections Committee will be accepting nominations.
  • April 8-12 – Nominations and Elections Committee will be verifying the nominations.
  • April 15-19 – Elections will be open – the link will be posted on the Connection. Please remember only one ballot per staff.  There will be (4) At-Large positions available.
  • The results will be announced at the next General Assembly Meeting on May 15.
