Membership

The Butler University Student Foundation is a closed membership organization that accepts new students only in the beginning of each fall semester. In order to be considered for membership, students must submit an application and complete an interview with the executive board. Applications can be obtained by signing up at our annual Block Party, or by contacting the Vice President of Membership, Ciera Oshodi (coshodi@butler.edu)

Each fall, BUSF typicall accepts between 20-25 new students. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to apply, regardless of class. The only requirements for applying are that you have a willingness to get involved, have an enthusiastic spirit for Butler, and committ to attending bi-weekly meetings!

The schedule for Fall 2011 semester is:

  1. Block Party-August 23rd
  2. Applications available-August 29th
  3. New Member Interest Session-September 6th
  4. Applications due-September 9th
