Leaders Conference

The Future Focused Leaders Conference, led by EPPSP students, focused on research from AASA’s Learning 2025, Michael B. Horn and Diane Tavenner’s podcast series, “Class Disrupted,” as well as Jamie Merisotis’ book, Human Work in the Age of Smart Machines, while also providing innovative ways to think about the evolving world of education. The Future Focused Leaders Conference, was attended by education, business, and community leaders. It revolved around three thought-provoking publications that challenge the current notions and interplay of leadership and learning in our country’s future.

In addition to these three publications, the Future Focused Leaders Conference featured two guest speakers; Jason Callahan, Assistant Secretary of Student Pathways and Opportunities at the Indiana Department of Education, and Christine McDonnell, Co-Founder and CEO of Codelicious. Both speakers presented on ideas that will change the way educators think and teach in order to set up students for future success.

We invite you to explore, engage, and discuss the vision of schools and education through the eyes of Butler EPPSP’s Future Focused Leaders Conference.

Thank you for your time and  consideration,
