0Today I finished watching all the Dreamweaver videos in Atomic Learning.

0I went through all of the emails that go to info commons since last Wednesday. I looked over emails sent to me by the associates. Answered a bunch of printing and copying questions, looked up where visitor parking is and started looking at how the ILLiad program.

0The library was busy today. I helped a lot of people find books, and there were a lot of people that needed help using the scanner. I logged in three or four public/alumni.

0Today I finished the training listed in my blog. I also looked over some of the social media stuff Meg showed me yesterday.

0Today I walked in and had someone waiting for help on Dreamweaver. I spent the entire time working with the student and teaching her how to do her project. I did not do the assignment for her, but showed her in a way that she would need to execute what I showed her again on her own time.

Today I finished going through the questions on BUAnswers. I also did some lessons on LCEasy. I had questions about color printing and how to use the copy machine so I helped students with that. I also had a question on where to find certain books. One of the books the student had on the list we didn’t have but I went on worldcat.org and saw that libraries nearby had it so I told her she could request an interlibrary loan and showed her how to make a request for that.

0Today I resubmitted the moodle assignment file and started AL Dreamweaver CS5 traininng.

0Today I got the cash drawer and counted the money, it matched last nights zero out report. I checked paper levels and straightened up the area. The right printer still says low toner. Need to ask the answer to this question “Can students from other universities print at Irwin Library?”: it needs to be updated on BUAnswers. Had a question about printing from personal computer. They have the Printsmart client, but it says the printer is offline. I don’t know what that means. The guy who services the Sharp copier came by and asked about paper usage and toner usage. He also asked about color printer to see if the problem was solved (I had a few color printings yesterday with no problems).

0Today I helped some people out with printing questions and I had someone ask where they could send a fax. I continued reading some questions/answers on BUanswers.

0I went through all the BU Answers to see if there were any answers that needed updated and added these items to a list that Cierra had started before me. I also went through the Info Commons libguide to look for things that needed to be updated as well. I had a few consultations as well during this time.
