0I did everyday tasks. The computer lab is really full today. Had one log-in for public. Helped a patron copy a magazine article.

0Today I did everyday tasks. I had to cancel one print job. Students still do not understand that color printing is cash only and 50 cents a page. We need better posters and info throughout campus and the library. Emailed helpdesk about a computer that would not connect to the server.

0Today I worked on finishing my Newsletter sections. I then tried to work on the library quiz which was just sent to me this morning by email. I didn’t get to the quiz until after 7:30, but I finished it. Found out my problem on Moodle, I had to complete a certain task before it would show me more assignments.

0I did everyday tasks. I worked on Newsletter articles. I worked on the quiz, still cannot seem to find it. Looking for how to get a specific article quickly that is not available online through Butler for a student who needs it by next week. Finished a draft of the newsletter article about Meet the Staff but need to hear back from Michelle about who needs to be featured in the article. Helped a person with the scanner 3 times. Ended up having to use the USB drive at the desk because the file wouldn’t send over email.

0Today I came in in dress clothes but walked in the rain so I showed up soaked. I changed into regular clothes and started my shift. I did every day tasks. The cash drawer count was the same as last night, but the denominations that make the count were different (2 fives and 3 ones, verses 1 five and 5 ones and quarter amounts) were what were different so the total seems like it should be different but it is not. I tried to help a student upload a video on Panopto but it didn’t work, we are not sure why. They tried even sharing it with their professor and it did not work. I sent him to JH 037 or the help desk to try and get help. I worked on the Newsletter articles the rest of the time.

0I realized I haven’t posted in a while. I did everyday tasks during both shifts today. Earlier I was working on Newsletter emails and now I am working on the Librarian Spotlight. Log in for a public person. Helped with the scanner. I am ending my shift working on the Meet the Staff section of the Newsletter.

0I did everyday tasks. The right printer had an error message when I came in. I turned it off and back on and it cleared. The cash drawer matched the amount from last night. I helped Marcus edit something. I sent an email to Melissa and Ginny and CC’d Sally.

0I did everyday tasks. I helped an alumni scan and print a piece of music. The left printer was 2/3 empty when I came on shift today. (it was empty when I came on my first shift at 12pm). I had a few questions about borrowing office supplies by a student. I got asked where the nearest coffee was located. A fight broke out between 2 students in the blue study area next to the circulation desk at 6:50.

0I did everyday tasks. The printers didn’t look like they had been checked since Friday. I had to add 6 reams of paper. I had a phone question about how to call a fraternity house. I had questions about Blackboard assignment submitting and adding a printer to a COPHS student computer. I had a question about changing language on PowerPoint to Spanish. I helped someone with the scanner.
