0I did everyday tasks. I had like 6 color printings first thing (all one page each). I counted cash drawer and my count was off from last night, but over. I had to shelve and return a bunch of books in music reference. Over 30 books. I only shelved about half because it felt like I was away from the desk too long. Sheri just asked if we had been scanning books for the Music Reference study, but Ginny told me earlier this year that we were not doing a reference study. So Sheri said she would ask Sally if we were or not.

0Today I did everyday tasks. Looked at articles for the next newsletter. No one has checked email before I got here at noon because there were emails from last night that hadn’t been read and this morning. Also no one got the cash drawer today. I did the count and it matched last night (minus overnight sales and today’s sales). I had two color print jobs.

0Did everyday tasks. Left printer wasn’t printing when I came in, it wasn’t registering the bottom trey. I opened and closed it and it worked again. Helped a student locate a book. Helped a student with a question about getting a book that is currently check out by another student. Helped a student with the scanner.

0I got the cash register. The count from last night and today match. I checked printers. Left one sounds like a roller/feeder is squeaking really loud. Noticed new scanner on the multimedia computer. Jennifer came over and she and I were trying to fix the internet on the Mac, it was on but not connecting to the internet. She sent in an IT request because we couldn’t figure it out. Marcus came in later and I told him the problem and he fixed it. I told Jennifer.

0I did every day tasks. Printers were good and no books to shelve. Had problems trying to look at Updates pg, the site wouldn’t load. I had a question about how to locate something in the Education commons. Printers are going pretty steadily. People don’t come to pick up documents right away so I have to keep going over and sorting out document so people can find them easily. Looked at the quick guides Google doc, trying to figure out if any more quick guides need to be done. Looked up some info on Dropbox

0Today I did everyday tasks. I had to fix 2 staplers that had been jammed. I shelved magazines. Helped a student learn the scanner/copier. Looked at the Quick guide project that Erica sent me. Helped a student find info on Hilton U. Brown Jr. Read the email about the library quiz that will be next week.

0I did everyday tasks. I worked on the articles for the Newsletter. Trying to find pics to use for the articles. I only need Renee’s picture and and iPhone picture.

0Today I got the cash drawer and the clipboard. I put in two sales from last night totaling $1. The Net from last night was $109.40 but the person who closed counted $109.89 (over 49 cents). My count this morning was $110.40 ($1 over from last nights net) which means that the person who closed didn’t count correctly. I checked printers for paper, one had a weird message so I hit menu and it started printing again. It printed out at least 20 different documents at that point which had been backed up on it. Shelved a lot of music reference books. I worked on articles. I had a color printing job. I emailed Renee about the Librarian Spotlight for the Newsletter.
