I read a few technology news articles on Google News, looked at a few of the portfolios on the blog, and continued my WordPress training. And I also finally remembered to print my paper bio so I put that on the board.

Today I worked mainly on Dreamweaver. I took more of a hands-on approach and started creating my website while I watched the videos. I messed up several times, but this allowed me to get real experience with using Dreamweaver and discovering for myself how things work. I finally got a site started to my liking that I will continue to work on next week.

I answered a few printing questions, a prospective student asked me about IC, and I did the end of the day cash report. I also read some of the tech facts posted on Moodle and posted some more!

Today in the Library I got to actually look up reference books for people which was fun, and used the cash box for the first time. I added a link to the Tech Facts, and completed the library quiz. I also completed the iMovie quiz as well. I finished the Photoshop video tutorial and practices, and have started to work on the CAT flyer in photoshop. Next week I plan on completing Excel training and fixing my blog on WordPress.

At the beginning of my shift I made a delivery to Tim in the Library of a camcorder, 2 flash drives and a stand. Then I worked on WordPress for the rest of the time. I finished the videos. I also went through the Skills checklist and there were a few that I need some help on but for the most part that is done. I also went though the WordPress Script, so maybe on my next shift I could go through it with an associate. On my shift at the library I worked on my library quiz. My plan was to finish it during the shift but i didn’t so i probably will finish it over the weekend.

I answered questions and looked at the associates’ profiles on the blog. I also added a link to interesting tech facts to the moodle discussion board yesterday that I forgot to mention. If you need something to do, read them, they’re pretty cool!

I answered a few questions about the scanner, a few color printings, and a few catalog questions. I also reviewed LC Easy again and I went over my library quiz with Ginny.

Today I watched some Photoshop videos before a faculty member came. I helped her import her photos and videos from an iPad onto the Mac in iPhotos, and then uploaded them into her dropbox. This took awhile because not all of the videos would upload right away, and had to be uploaded individually. I reset the iPad (it’s probably still in the reset process) and Chasadee has the number of the iPad because she said the paperwork is a mess and we couldn’t find the form immediately.
