CAT 9/7
0Today I worked on the classroom mediation training. I was not able to practice in JH048 because of a meeting, but I read over all of the documents in the training folder.

0Today I finished up the instructor moodle training videos, watched Eric’s panopto session and did the moodle assignment. I also got talked to jeana and kenton about the the promo videos

0Today I finished watching all of the Atomic Learning videos for Moodle Instructors.
I also began the classroom mediation. I read the overview, then I practiced with the touch panel, doc cam, the copy cam. I looked at the VHS/DVD player and am comfortable setting both of those up. I also read of the Tip Sheet. All I have left to do is to do the SMART Board materials, which I couldn’t do today because classes were going on.
I also watched my Panopto video from last week. I found some improvements that I could make
– Not look at the paper so much
– Know what I am going to do next (I had to keep pausing)
– be more enthusiastic – I was really boring
– Something I realized for next time that will be helpful is to have all my screens opened and minimized before I start the video. This saves time having to type everything in. If I had them minimized, and I was logged into the site, it would have gone smoother.
Library Shift 9/5/2012
0I was asked by Sally Neal to go through a lot of the BU answers that were public and edit them for spelling, grammar, and broken links, and I also saved someone from losing their wallet.

0Today in CAT, I did the Moodle training on Moodle. I also completed the iPad training with an actual iPad.

0Today I looked for the old panopto faulty spotlight videos which I could not find on the big Mac (Jeana said she would look for them tomorrow). We only need 1 panopto faulty spotlight video because 2 were done last year. She gave me a name of a professor but I’m waiting on a list of questions so I can attach it with my email to the professor. I also watch some instructor Moodle training videos. Eric said he would get the info I need to him tomorrow and I haven’t heard from Kenton yet.

0Today I did some classroom mediation training. I wasn’t able to do the training for SMART boards since there were classes using the rooms that had SMART boards. I also made a Panopto tutorial for using the VHS/DVD player. I finished the Moodl eassignment and I also finished watching iMovie on Atomic Learning. I also started Dreamweaver on Atomic Learning as well.
