While completing the International Culture Project, you are required to write a four page double spaced research paper. You will use micro-soft word to construct your paper. I demand you to use this writing process in order to achieve the highest grade possible:

5 Steps of the Writing Process
Pre-Write
- Research Several Countries before deciding on one to do your Research Paper on.
- Construct a Graphic Organizer and/or Free Write just to get some ideas on paper
- Working and discussing w/ peers about countries is encouraged. As long as you choose your own country.
- If possible conduct an interview w/ a person from that country, that would be awesome
- Use https://bubbl.us/ for a brainstorming activity
Writing
- Decide on a country
- Take ideas from your free write or your graphic organizer
- Not all ideas have to be included and you can new ideas as you go along
- This is just a draft, I would like for you to not worry about the page count. Just get quality information
Revising
- This step is for you(the writer) to improve your writing
- Allow one of your Peers to read what you have written so far AND read aloud to a parent or older sibling. It WILL help!
- Organize your Research Paper! Add and remove information at your discretion
- Make sure your Research Paper has a nice flow to it
Editing
- Check Spelling and Grammar, Poor spelling and grammar mistakes WILL affect your grade
- Switch Papers w/ a Peer, make track changes and comments to their paper using MS Word Document. The first Link above provides an example.
- After Peer Edit, Self Edit. At this point the process is just about finish. When you self edit look for any Errors
Publishing
- Final Step of the writing process-Hooray!
- Publish Writing-Ask yourself, “who will my readers be?”
- Hand in copy to me and be ready to read your Research paper in front of the entire classroom
- Make sure you include your bibliography
