Butler University hosted the PALNI (Private Academic Library Network of Indiana) All-Staff Meeting on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Librarians and staff from private academic libraries across the state gathered to discuss new initiatives and on-going projects related to their shared ILS (Integrated Library System). ExLibris, PALNI’s ILS vendor, provided a keynote address.
Finals are coming to an end, but Butler Libraries will continue to be open. Irwin is open until 2:00 am Sunday and 1:00 am on Monday. Science is open until 12:oo midnight both nights. Free coffee and hot chocolate available at Irwin!
Butler’s Irwin Library is the campus location for the Undergraduate Research Conference student poster sessions and visual art display. The Undergraduate Research Conference, being held Friday, April 15, brings together approximately 600 students from over 30 Midwest colleges and universities to share their learning and experiences. At the conference, undergraduate students present summaries of their work in sessions organized by topics via a brief oral presentation or poster presentation format.
The poster sessions and visual art display will be available for viewing at the following times:
Poster Sessions, Irwin Library:
9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Visual Art Display, Irwin Library Atrium:
9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
