The National Library of Medicine recently released several hundred historical eBooks.  You can access them at this link.

“Medicine in the Americas is a digital library project that makes freely available original works demonstrating the evolution of American medicine from colonial frontier outposts of the 17th century to research hospitals of the 20th century.”

The online library catalog will be unavailable from Friday 5/27 at 2:00pm through Sunday 5/29 at 2:00pm as we move our content to a new server. Once the system is up and running and the switch has been verified successful, the catalog will again be available for your use.

Butler University hosted the PALNI (Private Academic Library Network of Indiana) All-Staff Meeting on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Librarians and staff from private academic libraries across the state gathered to discuss new initiatives and on-going projects related to their shared ILS (Integrated Library System). ExLibris, PALNI’s ILS vendor, provided a keynote address.
