The Information Commons is now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 academic year. There will be several openings for new students to work as Information Commons Assistants.

Butler’s Irwin Library is the campus location for the Undergraduate Research Conference student poster sessions and visual art display. The Undergraduate Research Conference, being held Friday, April 15, brings together approximately 600 students from over 30 Midwest colleges and universities to share their learning and experiences. At the conference, undergraduate students present summaries of their work in sessions organized by topics via a brief oral presentation or poster presentation format.
The poster sessions and visual art display will be available for viewing at the following times:
Poster Sessions, Irwin Library:
9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Visual Art Display, Irwin Library Atrium:
9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Irwin Library was the site of the Phi Beta Kappa Class of 2011 initiation Saturday, April 2. Thirty-four students and three alumni were initiated into the chapter. Irwin Library will be closing at 9:00 pm on Monday so everyone can cheer on the Bulldogs. The Science Library will still be open for the overly dedicated to use library services during the game. 🙂
Tuesday, April 5, both libraries will open at 10:00 am with the rest of campus.
